ITINERARY

Day 1

CASABLANCA - ARRIVAL

Welcome, Mrehba! We will meet with you either at Casablanca Airport or your accommodation early in the morning. After a refreshment or breakfast, we will tour the ornate interior and exterior of the Hassan 11 Mosque. For lunch, you can choose to dine with a view of the Atlantic Ocean on the Corniche. We will then transfer from Casablanca to Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. The specifics of today's itinerary will depend on your arrival arrangements. One night's accommodation in Marrakech, including dinner and breakfast, is also included.

Day 2

The red city of Marrakech

After breakfast, we will meet with you at your accommodation and introduce you to a private local guide from Marrakech. Together, you will embark on an admiring walk around the Koutoubia Mosque and tour the Bahia Palace, which was once home to the sultans' hareem. You will also visit the decorative Ben Youseff Madrasa and the vast ruins of El Badi Palace, as well as the mosaiced Saadian Tombs. You can choose to have lunch in the Medina or at the iconic Jemaa el Fnaa square. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore an Aladdin's cave of souks within the Medina. Dinner is not included tonight, so you can choose to visit a city restaurant if you wish. One night's accommodation in Marrakech, including breakfast, is also included in this tour.

Day 3

Marrakech To Dades Valley.

After having breakfast, we will meet with you at your accommodation. From there, we will embark on a journey through the High Atlas Mountains and over the Tichka Pass, which is the highest mountain pass in North Africa. There is an optional visit to a rural argan oil co-operative available. We will also visit the remote kasbah Telouet and the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. While in the Ait Ben Haddou area, we will have a traditional lunch. The rest of the day will be spent on a beautiful drive through the Dades Valley and Berber villages, with photo and refreshment stops as desired. We will also visit Kelaa M'gouna, the town known for producing Moroccan rose oil. Our journey will end in Boumaine du-Dades, where we will spend the night. One night's accommodation in Boumaine du-Dades, including dinner and breakfast, is included in this tour.

Day 4

Dades Valley To Merzouga & Erg Chebbi Luxury Desert Camp.

We will meet with you at your accommodation after breakfast and take you on a short walking tour of Todra Gorge, which is known for its stunning beauty. We will then have lunch in the spice market town of Rissani, where you can try a local specialty called Saharan pizza. After lunch, we will embark on a short journey to the Saharan town of Merzouga, where you will meet with your camel and camel guide. You will take a roughly one-hour camel ride to a luxury desert camp for sunset. You will have the option to climb the towering dunes to watch the sunset over the Sahara. The following morning, you will have the chance to watch the sunrise over the Sahara by climbing the dunes again. During the night, you can gaze at the star-filled sky and enjoy a campfire, traditional dinner, live Saharan music, and warm hospitality. One night's accommodation in the Erg Chebbi luxury desert camp, including dinner and breakfast, is included in this itinerary.

Day 5

Erg Chebbi Desert Camp To Agdz.

Today, we will embark on a spectacular drive through the post-Sahara region and visit a remote mountain Berber village. There will be an optional informal sand boarding activity available. We will begin the day with a one-hour camel ride from the desert camp to Merzouga, and then transfer to a 4x4 for the journey out of the Sahara along the breathtaking Anti-Atlas mountain range. Our destination is the village of Nqob, where scenes from the film "Babel" starring Brad Pitt were filmed. We will have lunch in Nqob or, alternatively, at a Kasbah in the Berber carpet town of Agdz. During a walking tour of the Agdz Kasbah, you will have the chance to take in panoramic views and enjoy refreshments from the rooftop café. There will also be opportunities for photographs and refreshment stops throughout the day. We will arrive in Agdz around the mid to late afternoon and spend the night there, with accommodation and dinner and breakfast included.

Day 6

Agdz To Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will meet with you at your accommodation and offer an optional visit to the Atlas Film Studios, which is known as the home of the international film industry in Morocco. You will also have the option to visit the Herbal & Spice Emporium in Ouarzazate and take a photography stop at the expansive Kasbah Taouririt. For lunch, we will enjoy a meal at Brazier Mountain in the High Atlas Mountains. During the journey, you can take as many photograph and refreshment stops as you like. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening, and one night's accommodation in Marrakech, including dinner and breakfast, is included in this tour.

Day 7

Marrakech To Essaouira.

This morning, we will meet with you at your accommodation after breakfast. Today, you will experience a complete change of scenery as we travel to Essaouira, arriving around noon. At the fish market, you will have the opportunity to choose your catch of the day for lunch, which will be cooked for you at a local restaurant or café. Afterwards, you will meet with a local private guide for an afternoon tour of Essaouira, including the relaxed medieval Medina and souks. If you prefer, you can also spend your free time on the beach after lunch. Dinner is not included tonight, so you are welcome to visit a local restaurant if you wish. One night's accommodation in Essaouira, including breakfast, is included in this itinerary.

Day 8

Airport Transfer Casablanca, Marrakech or Essaouira

The schedule for today will depend on your departure flight or other travel plans. Please allow for at least 6 hours of travel time to reach Casablanca Airport, plus a minimum of 2.5 hours before your flight departs. For flights departing from Menera Airport in Marrakech, allow for 45 minutes of travel time plus a minimum of 2.5 hours before your flight. If you are departing from Essaouira Airport, allow for 45 minutes of travel time plus a minimum of 2.5 hours before your flight. When it is time to say goodbye, we will wish you "Bislema!" (goodbye in Arabic).
